About Us

Peter Clark began in the Motor Trade in 1991, operating a rental car business for five years. During that time he became a Licenced Motor Vehicle Dealer and opened the business of Clarks Cars in 1994. Soon after, he began buying trips to Japan, in search of good quality stock. During that time he built up a good understanding of the Japanese car industry and formed a long term relationship with a buying agent in Japan who still supplies Clarks Cars today.

Peter has two staff members who prepare all vehicles for sale. Daniel and Fraser have been with Clarks Cars for ten years & eight years. They also have wealth of knowledge gained in the vehicle trade.

In the last five years Clarks Cars has been specializing in commercial vans, family coaches and light commercials. Vehicles are sent all over NZ to tradesmen, families and organisations.

Clarks Cars pride themselves on personal service and enjoy the satisfaction of seeing clients and their families return to replace vehicles purchased years ago.
